    1. Do you think Medusa is a good symbol for this circle? Why or why not?

    2. "'Medusa come, so we to stone will change him!' All shouted looking down; "in evil hour Avenged we not on Theseus his assault!" -- Why would have turning him to stone been the best punishment?

    3. If everybody were to experience this circle, do you think we would still be choosing our own misery?
